VAT and EORI validation
Live lookups against the European Commission's VIES and EORI services (and HMRC's for UK EORI numbers), with the registered name and address where available. When a registry is down you get a clear error, never a false "invalid".
How it works →Counterparty compliance check
One call to vet a new customer or supplier: VAT and EORI numbers, sanctions screening, an email domain check and Peppol e-invoicing status, with a single clear or review-needed verdict and the reasons.
How it works →Sanctions screening
Company names screened against the EU, UN, UK and US OFAC sanctions lists, each refreshed daily from its official publisher.
How it works →Supplier email fraud check
Catches lookalike domains like suppIier.com, newly registered domains, throwaway mailboxes and spoofable mail setups before you pay an invoice.
How it works →Proof-of-check certificates
A PDF record of who was checked, when, against which registry and with what result, ready for your auditor.
How it works →Bulk checks and monitoring
Upload a CSV of up to 5,000 VAT or EORI numbers and download the results as a spreadsheet, and get a signed webhook when a customer's VAT number stops being valid.
How it works →Straight from the official sources
Every answer comes from official sources: the European Commission's VIES for VAT numbers and EU EORI service for customs numbers, and the sanctions lists published by the EU, the UN Security Council, the UK government and the US Treasury (OFAC). Validitool adds caching, a single API, proof-of-check certificates and monitoring on top, and tells you plainly when a registry can't answer. Uptime is public on our status page.
